Hot water took an agonizing five minutes to hit, questionable bathroom cleanliness, outdated bathroom vent and a faint odor in the towels!!! The area felt a bit rundown and not inviting.

The Queen Room was mostly remodeled with new fixtures, flooring, and a comfy bed. It was quiet at night, which was a plus. Just wish the exterior could match the room’s vibe. The bathroom looked a bit dated but was functional. Overall, it was a nice stay for the price considering I just needed a place to crash.

the hotel's close proximity to riverside park, just a short 3.5 km walk, made it easy to enjoy a leisurely stroll surrounded by nature, and being only 3 km from salina downtown inc meant that I could explore a variety of shops and local eateries without needing a car, making my weekend much more enjoyable.
